The new Windows Live Messenger Mobile client (codenamed G2) has been in private beta for some time, and can only be installed on Windows Mobile 5 or 6 smart phones and Pocket PCs. The new version is a substantial update to the older Pocket MSN, with the mobile client now closely resembling Windows Live Messenger.
Some of the new features include:
- Nudges (your mobile device vibrates), and voice clips
- File transfers
- Phone book integration with Windows Live Contacts
